Located in Christchurch’s CBD on Oxford Terrace with a northern aspect view over the Avon River and the designated area for the Canterbury Earthquake Memorial, Architecture Studio was engaged to design a five level office building with basement car parking. Full height double glazed azure tint curtain walls were introduced to the facade to provide views over the Avon River, Cashel Street and the southern aspect of the Port hills. The building was setback off the internal boundaries reducing fire ratings requirements allowing increased glass area. The corners of the building were softened by introducing curved glass panels. Working drawing documentation complete and tender negotiations currently underway for Construction.
