Located in the elite suburb of Merivale, Architecture Studio was engaged to design a new two level commercial development with basement car park linking to the Clients existing commercial building on Papanui Road. Located in a high vehicle and foot traffic area with retail shops, cafes, St Georges Hospital and an aged care facility, it was important that the design was sympathetic and complemented the surrounding environment. The building is constructed with reinforced precast concrete panels and introduced profiled steel decorative façade features and a central core with an elevator servicing all levels to allow multiple tenants.
