This corner site new build development located in Kaiapoi contains seven industrial units complete with showrooms and mezzanine office spaces and a first floor two bedroom apartment with its own balcony. This combination provides a versatile building to suit most medium scale industrial businesses. Traditional tilt panel construction for external and inter-tenancy walls provided the necessary unit title boundary fire ratings as well as a durable impact resistant cladding. Precast concrete window surrounds were introduced around the mezzanine windows as an architectural feature and sun protection. The Structure was supported on piles through the sandy layers which allowed the building to stand up well against the Canterbury Earthquakes.
